How do you capture over 1,500 leads from one marketing campaign? Go big... Texas BIG.

Gemalto is a data protection company who was looking to revitalize their audience engagement around a new product offering for cloud security. They first approached me to design & develop a robust digital marketing campaign to increase lead conversion. The question was how could I make cloud-security more... “fun” and get their audience excited about privacy protection. Logistically, the campaign was to run in tandem with a call to action to download and install the product on AWS. As such, the goal was not only to promote Gemalto’s new product but also promote marketplace adoption on Amazon’s newly launched web services platform (AWS).

Exploring the Wild West of the Web

After gaining access to Gemalto’s current website analytics, I was able to quickly research and identify two distinct target demographics using audience segmentation and geolocation. These user personas helped identify the style and tone for the campaigns’ voice. Because Gemalto’s audience was primarily based around data centers in the midwest region of the United States, it was a natural conclusion that our campaign should be “western” themed.

There's a new security sheriff

Consequently, I landed on the idea, “Is Your Cloud Security Like the Wild West?” - with the idea that Gemalto was the new sheriff in town. As a result of our design and mrketing efforts, the campaign was delivered on-time and under budget while generating over 1,500 leads!

Saddle up for big savings on event signage

A huge part of Gemalto's campaign was based around the adoption of the AWS Marketplace as their preferred solutions platform. As such, their team needed an event booth to showcase their product offering at Amazon's yearly technology conference, re:Invent.
